b4. Upstairs Hallway. I did this same shot in Black and White several
years ago. Here the color adds warmth; the B&W seems much more "abandoned".

b12. Some of the buildings are being "restored" with furnishings
typical of the time (1890-1920). Unfortunately; they are then locked, so photography
must be done through a window.

b14. Many houses are only one room, for eating and sleeping. The
majority of a miner's day was spent out at the diggings, so more not needed.

b16. Many houses of the time/area didn't have hallways; inefficient.
Rather all the doorways were alligned for traffic, with doors for privacy.
